Keepin’ it short ‘n’ simple
Morris Modified Register Meeting. This Thursday night at Lloyd Harrington’s bakery / depot, 499 Canterbury Road, Vermont. If you are on Canterbury Road heading east, once you pass Mitcham Road / Boronia Road intersection it is on the left and is the second driveway after the cream brick fence (that’s his brother’s milk depot). It’s usually nice and warm as Lloyd fires up one of the baking ovens for us. Jon Giles apparently has been out filming again and may show some footage of Richard big noting himself again! Be there around 8pm.
July Club Run / Display.
Sandown Racecourse Sunday July 15th.
I have been approached by Peter Rees from
the Sports Sedans Association about putting on a club display on the concrete
area next to the front straight (now known as Peter Brock Straight). Richard
will tell you all about it at the meeting but I have the main details here.
If you enter with the club you get free entry for two ( that’s right, two)
people plus your vehicle is displayed next to the race track. You must
fill in the form I have enclosed with this news letter and return it to
me ASAP! You also get the chance for a parade lap but you must have the
entry form filled out and sent to ME ASAP. Peter is waiting for my answer
and I need some approximate number before I go back to him. If you are
interested please tell Richard at the meeting or leave an e-mail or phone
message with either myself or Richard. I would like to see some members
cars out there!
